Thanksgiving --- or Thanksgibing, as Malaren says --- was a feast of classic foods.
Malaren extends great thanks to her grandma for the cornucopia. When Cathy heard that
Malaren and I couldn't finds any sign of Thanksgiving decorations (overrun to make
space for Christmas retail), she promptly found one and mailed it to us.
House O'Leary picked up Koral as the token orphan of the holiday. Koral and I
are developing the comic book "Prince Erik and the Dalarna Horse" for
distribution
in Sweden. He's the artist.
Malaren didn't stuff herself with turkey, as did the rest of us, so she was ready for
playtime
right after dinner. It was all I could do to sit and hold the camera while she ran around.
I
think I balanced the camera on my gut.
Oh, this is cute: this is her turkey maker.
After dinner, we visited Keith and Marzia next door.
Jen took Malaren to a neat light park, somewhere in Alabama. She and I had visitied
it about 5 years ago. It has this strange Twilight Zone feel to it because it's a vast
display
of light (lawn) shows and other side shows that's only around for one month of the year.
