EASTER!
Annie came to Pensacola for Easter and it fun!
We had sunny weather and rainy weather, so the beach
and the back porch were fully enjoyed.
And the Zoo!!!! Lot's of fun for Malaren.
We also celebrated Malaren's second birthday
since Annie was in town, which added to the gift-giving fun.
Here's some pics:
Second Birthday Cake
Some of Jen's favorite toys from her youth:
Malaren doubled Homeland Security Agent,
checking all of Annie's bags for fun contents.
Oky, here's the Easter egg hunt. We made it easy.
Zoo Time.
One of the events at the Zoo was the Egg Toss. The zoo keepers tossed
eggs to the
many animals. In the "pit" here are two African wild dogs.
They had the weirdest yellow, white and black coloration -- psychotic creatures -- but
yipped like poodles.
You can't tell, but I could see Jen and Malaren just of the other side
of this peacock's tail-feathers.
He was a very proud bird. Like NBC.
At the Zoo, we got to ride the train. The girls had the cameras, so I'm affraid most of the pictures are of me and Mal.
Other pictures:
On the first day of every month, Jen takes a photo of Malaren
next to her Winnie the Pooh bear.
At 23 months (Arpil 1), Malaren has obviously become the dominant partner,
and has a fetish for wearing her mother's shoes.
Story time!
But of course, story time withthe girls turns into Hair Salon time. Pig tails!
Gotta show mommie!
Easter, later in the day...
Last one...
Until summer, ta-ta!
